Cobrowsing vs Screen Share

Cobrowsing and Screen Share act similar but are two completely different technologies. ‍ Most screen sharing software requires an install and uses video to stream a live feed of a users session to participants in a meeting room. Cobrowsing software on the other hand does NOT use video, instead it simply passes HTML code from a host to a participant(s). The major difference is how the information is delivered and presented. Video it is heavy, requires a lot of software and resources, and is dependent on a good internet connection. Code is light, requires almost no software, and can be deployed in minutes. ‍
